About Brent
Based in Atlanta and working worldwide, Brent Dey has spent more than two decades writing content and producing and directing brand films for KPMG, Georgia Aquarium, Merck, Aflac and SCAD. His roots in Atlanta’s creative community run deep. As a founding member of Whole World Theatre and co-founder of the Dailies film collaborative, he honed his storytelling skills and built a network of Atlanta creatives he continues to work with today.
A writer before he became a filmmaker, Brent brings a journalist’s curiosity, a copywriter’s instinct for persuasion and a director’s visual sensibility to every project. Equally comfortable shaping content strategy, directing a crew or working behind the camera, he brings seasoned creative judgment to every stage of production — finding the most compelling story, making smart use of resources and creating films that motivate audiences through wit, emotion and human connection.
THREE WAYS I TELL STORIES
These three reels offer a quick look at the range of work I do — from finding unscripted moments behind the camera to directing fully realized productions to capturing new perspectives from the air. Different approaches, all in service of a good story.
